Some areas of Family Manx Website may require registration. By completing the registration form, or subscribing to any of our email services, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. If you register with Family Manx Magazine, you should read our privacy policy below.

1. Use of the Material appearing on Family Manx Magazines website
For the purposes of this agreement, “material” means text, video, graphics and sound material published on Family Manx Magazine’s website. You may download and print extracts from the material and make copies for your own personal and non-commercial use only. You are not allowed to download or print the material, or extracts from it, in a systematic or regular manner or otherwise so as to create a database in electronic or paper form comprising all or part of the material appearing in Family Manx.
You must not reproduce any part of Family Manx Magazine website or the material or transmit it to or store it in any other website or disseminate any part of the material in any other form, unless we have given written permission that you may do so.

Whilst every effort has been made to verify the information provided in these pages, Family Manx Magazine can accept no responsibility for any inaccuracies or omissions.
Family Manx Magazine make no representation and gives no warranty either express or implied (whether by statute collaterally by common law or otherwise) in respect of any of the products or services listed.
Inter alia Family Manx Magazine expressly excludes any warranty or condition of satisfactory quality or suitability for a particular purpose.
You will see advertising material submitted by third parties on Family Manx Magazine and website. Individual advertisers are solely responsible for the content of advertising material, which they submit to use, including ensuring that it complies with relevant legislation. We accept no responsibility for the content of advertising material, including, without limitation, any error, omission or inaccuracy therein.
3. Data Protection
If you have indicated on the registration form that you wish to receive direct marketing material, your personal details will be included in the database compiled for direct marketing purposes. From time to time, you may receive direct marketing information from us or from third parties, via us.
If you have indicated that you wish to receive email updates from Family Manx Magazine, your personal details will be included on a database compiled for this purpose.
If you wish to change your mind about receiving direct marketing material please notify us, and as soon as reasonably practicable we will remove your name from the relevant database.
4. Privacy Policy
At Family Manx Magazine we collect different types of information about our users for the following reasons:
To help us improve the services we offer.
To provide personalised services to individual users.
To use anonymous details about our users to sell appropriate advertising space on the site. This might mean showing an advertiser how many pregnant users we have on the site; it does not mean subsequently sharing your personal details with that advertiser.
Where we collect registration information from an individual we will not share that information with a third party without express permission.
We collect information via registration. This includes your name, address, due date or the birth date of your children.
Family Manx Magazine does not sell, trade or rent your personal information.
5. Competitions, Free Offers and Give-aways.
Family Manx Magazine will, on occasion, run competitions organised by Family Manx and/or in conjunction with other parties. The basic rules for these are as follows:
1) Only one entry per household per competition.
2) Prizes are as stated – no cash alternative.
3) In all cases – the editors’ decision is final.
Where free offers and give-aways are concerned, the procedures for receiving an offered item are stated in the magazine itself. These procedures are non-negotiable.
